- For fecal sample collection: Collect a sufficient amount of fecal matter (1-2 ml or 1-2 g) in a clean, dry sample container to obtain the maximum amount of antigens (if any). Best results are achieved when the test is performed within 6 hours of collection. The sample taken can be stored at -20°C for up to 3 days.
- To process fecal samples: Unscrew the sample collection tube cap, then insert the sample collection applicator into at least 3 different locations of the fecal sample to collect approximately 50 mg of feces (equivalent to 1/4 of a pea). Please do not scoop the fecal sample. Bring the bag to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and use it as quickly as possible. The best results are achieved if the test is carried out immediately after opening the foil pouch. Hold the sampling tube upright and open the tube cap. Invert the tube and add 2 full drops of the extracted sample (approx. 80 µL) into the sample well (S) of the test cassette and start the timer. Avoid air bubbles in the sample well (S). See image below.
- Read the results after 10 minutes. Results may no longer be interpreted after 20 minutes.
